Redeem Donation Codes
If you are the recipient of a donation code:
- Open a free ProtonMail account.
- within a few minutes you have the safest email account there is!
- Never use the subject line; it is not encrypted!
- Send the donation code to givepriv@protonmail.com
- We will reply with sending you a form.
- Fill in the form and send it back.
- Don’t fortget to fill in the Proton email address of the donor!
- We redeem your donation code.
- When executed we send you a confirmation.
If you are the donor, you have several options:
A. Redeem the full value of the donation code
- Reply to our email with ProtonMail.
- Fill in the form with the information about the beneficiary.
- If you want to donate to our GIVEPRIV Foundation, filling in our name is enough.
- When a donation code is executed we send you a confirmation.
OR:
B. Redeem the donation code partially or periodically
- Use your code as a trusted third party for all your charitable activities.
- Reply to our email with ProtonMail.
- Fill in the form with the information about the beneficiary.
- Alter the amount mentioned in our email into the desired amount.
- We reply with a new form and the amount left.
- You can repeat this until all the money is gone.
- Or you use the form to donate periodically to the same recipient and choose an interval.
- This way you can leave it further to us.
- When a donation is executed we send you a confirmation.
OR:
Send the donation code anonymous to the charity or person yourself
- Use ofcourse your ProtonMail account (and VPN) to protect your privacy.
- Consider this possibility only if you trust the recipient, because your gift easily ends up in the wrong pockets.
OR:
- Just store the donation code(s) and do nothing as long as you like.
